But this is the closest group i could find :( I have an original IBM PC with a full 640k ram!! anyway it has a 20MEG? Seagate Hard Drive? Mode st-225. and well I can't access it. I tried to run dos fdisk but it gave an error. I tried to use minix part and got an error saying it can't access the partition table. any Ideas on what the problem is or how to fix it. Is there any way to set up the BIOS on these machines for I'm sure the battery is dead. (It always says the date is 01-01-80) anyway thanks for any help. And I do apologize for being off topic. -- Dale Henderson <mailto:nilram@faeryland.tamu-commerce.edu> "Imaginary universes are so much more beautiful than this stupidly- constructed 'real' one..." -- G.
