I think these are all good ideas. Some other people were mentioning similar
ideas to this as well, so I think it may be a "general will" sort-of-thing
(or, is that a "global mind"??)

There are lots of area-specific announcements posted to SOREHAND, so I
frankly think it would be completely appropriate.
