I had played the drums before getting this disease.  I have been
contemplating trying to get back into it, but I haven't played them since
the height of my injury in 1995.  (My injury was in 1993.)

I wish I had 

(1) not worn my wrist brace while playing (I believe that that ended up
    making my hand/wrist worse) and
(2) brought buckets of ice to practices and gigs for pain/swelling relief.
