Boston Voice Users will be meeting on Tuesday, March 10th, at 7:30 in MIT room 1-242. Eric Johansson will be speaking on topics related to theoretical aspects of a speech driven programming environment. Speech user interfaces are radically different from the traditional command line and graphical user interface environments we have all come to know and love then hate after we ruined our hands/arms. So come prepared to use your brain and think about common tasks a little differently. To get to the room: Go in the main door of MIT at 77 Mass Ave. Take the first corridor to your right, walk along it until you have passed the ship models. Where the corridor jogs to the left, go upstairs, then continue in the same direction as before (parallel to Mass Ave.). Room 242 will be on your left. $1 suggested donation for those who can afford it, to cover the cost of refreshments. Please feel free to cross-post this notice.
