Actually, my .xsession (used from xdm).  I need to be able to type in my
password; that's why I thought xterm made sense.

BTW, I forgot to mention that I'm running version 4.5.0, if that makes any
difference.  Also, "xterm" is really "rxvt", but I don't believe that
makes a difference.
