sorry to be so slow but i've been very busy at work. Yes the snow-cat rims
are for riding in snow. I've found that they work best in light packed and
not so deep powder. They are pretty heavy so they work best on commuting
over rolling hills or flat terrain. They are easy to put on but the break
setup is a bit of a pain especially if you have v-brakes.
You can get them mail order through "all-weather sports". I don't know the
address anymore but you can find out by asking people in the MTBR.
