Again, I have agree with Alan Chartock. Immigration and not increased
birth rates is the answer to social security funding short falls. Alan's
statement that, with immigration, we can have a more select and
specialized workforce is correct. (Also, encouraging larger birth rates
is irresponsible in a time when the world's population is scheduled to
reach 10 billion in the year 2050. There is plenty of labor available in
the world.)
