Robert,
I have a basic grammar worked out on paper, and I have part of it implemented
as NatSpeak macros. This is a major rewrite of the free macros I have on my
site. There's a mouse component that I'm just releasing as a product for
NatSpeak 5 and 6 professional now, and in the coming months I'll release a
couple of other packages that all fit together along the lines of what I was
talking about -- a command language that has a logical, restrictive order to
it, and is therefore easier to learn and remember than the kitchen sink
command languages today's commercial products are gravitating to.
If you want, I can get you a copy of NatSpeak 5 so you can try this stuff out.
And if the Linux project can make use of any of this I'd be willing to
contribute.
Cheers,
Kim

All opinions are mine, but any really weird typos
are due to a streak of independence in the speech
recognition software I use.
