The Boston Vegetarian Society
invites you to attend our
3rd Sunday Seminar and Social Dinner
Sunday, March 17, 2002 at 4 p.m.
a FREE Lecture and Cooking Demo
"Cooking Under Pressure: Using
Pressure Cookers for Fast,
Convenient, Healthy Meals"
with speaker David Lovler
This is a chance to enhance your meal repertoire!
Pressure cooking can greatly reduce cooking
time compared to conventional methods. It also
makes it practical to regularly prepare foods
such as hard root vegetables and long-cooking
legumes. Quick cooking grains which ordinarily
take 15 minutes can be done in 2 minutes in a
pressure cooker. Learn how to cook a variety
of nutritious foods and one-pot meals in this
real-time demonstration.
Speaker David Lovler enjoys food from the
ground up. He is a gardener and grows edible
sprouts. He prepares delicious raw and cooked
dishes from whole ingredients, and has expertise
in edible wild plants and composting.
