Yes, it works PPP. I have used it with several normal ISPs.
However there is no DLink technical support on the handshaking or
protocols. I am using a MultiTech 56K stand alone modem. I have a 25
pin gender changer and a 9-25 pin converter. I don't understand why it
works, only that it does. I tied to make my own connector cable and it
didn't work.
