No. I wanted to save it for my between-job status.

You can only put $3000/year max into IRAs; perhaps it's more if two people
do it? I know that when you're over 59, you can tack on an extra
$500/year (which makes $3500/year) to "catch up". It's a lot more for
401Ks ($15000, maybe?).
