Well, I plan to keep all my ancient underwear. I don't care what other people think about my appearance. Appearance doesn't matter -- only survival and ideas do. And I think that she spends plenty on herself -- $40/month for luxurious baths is more than enough. I think the real problem with the article on frugality is that they didn't account for the cost of children. Children are horrendously expensive. Finally, trying to give psychological explanations for frugality is pointless. It is always a good thing in this consumer-oriented debt-ridden nation. > From: noelle <http://dummy.us.eu.org/noelle> > Date: Sun, 20 Apr 2003 08:18:28 -0400 (EDT) > > ---------- Forwarded message ---------- > Date: Sat, 19 Apr 2003 19:58:55 +0000 > From: Tam <http://www.hotmail.com/~tam> > To: http://dummy.us.eu.org/noelle > > I laughed at the part about the guy's glasses because I remember your > battles with Robert about his ancient underwear .
