Hello, My name is Matthew Ver Miller and I am a doctoral student at Forest Institute of Professional Psychology, Springfield, Missouri. I am writing to invite you to participate in the research I am conducting for my dissertation. The purpose of this study is to compare the relationship qualities and characteristics of couples who have children to couples who are childfree. Many studies have researched marital qualities and characteristics but few have compared these qualities as experienced in couples who have children with couples who are childfree. Both spouses are very welcome and encouraged to participate. Each spouse will complete the questionnaire individually. If only one spouse is able to participate he/she is welcome to do so. If you know other couples that might be interested in the study you may forward this message to them or direct them to the website below.
The questionnaire may take between 20-35 minutes, depending on the individual. You will be able to remain anonymous and all supplied information will remain confidential. To participate, please go to www.mythostechnologies.com/study to find out more and complete the questionnaire on-line.
