Hi Noelle,

Yes, Vancouver would be my first choice in Canada, with Toronto or
Montreal a close second. I haven't been to any of those cities, but
have heard good things about all of them, esp. Vancouver, which at this
point has has a majority of residents from Asia. There is an especially
large Indian population, and I beieve that the movie "Masala" takes
place there: http://us.imdb.com/Details?0102415 . This movie didn't get
such good reviews on IMDB, but I liked it a lot (also liked "Mississippi
Masala", with which it is often confused). Might have been Toronto, but
in any case they show the support that the Canadian government has for
Asian cultures.

Anyway, I'm glad that you and Robert are going to be around Feb 17-21.
I'll try and make plans to get together with you as my own plans take
shape.

Fondly,
Simon
