You do not want to be commuting to  and looking for a place to live
at the same time.  You'll be completely exhausted.

Unless you want to pay $1000 for the flight, you really should book your
flight now.

Do you know anyone who would be willing to do apartment hunting for you?

I wouldn't even consider Plimoth.  Leaving just 1 week to search for a
place is not enough.
