Your quote is based on the information that you provided to us and we are pleased to offer the following service:

The price listed is valid for 60 days. If your move is beyond that time frame, please call or email within 60 days of your move date for an updated price. Please let us know if you have a competitive price and we'll do our best to make your move more affordable for you and your family.

The information contained in this email is long - but very informative. We have attempted to address most questions generally asked (and also the important questions not asked). We encourage you to take the time to read through the entire email response before calling our offices as your question or concern may already have been addressed. PLEASE NOTE: The price listed above is an ALL-INCLUSIVE RATE of your personal belongings and covers ALL TRANSPORTATION COSTS including: requested trailer space, normal drop-off and pickup of the trailer, taxes, gas, oil, $15,000 worth of name-perils insurance, driver, tolls and fuel surcharges. You, as the customer, are only responsible for packing your household goods, loading/securing and unloading of your trailer. If loading/unloading your goods is not a good option for you, for a nominal fee, ValueMoves can arrange for laborers to assist you in loading and/or unloading of the trailer.

The ONLY additional cost you could possibly bring upon yourself would be if extra space above your contracted amount is used on the trailer. If you use more or less than your contracted trailer space, you final price will be adjusted accordingly (subject to a minimum trailer usage) Otherwise, the above listed estimate is ALL-INCLUSIVE.

NEW SERVICE - AUTOMOBILE TRANSPORTATION
ValueMoves can now arrange to move your automobile. This is done on a separate trailer and is not part of the household move. If you would like a free quote, please fill out the ValueMoves Automobile Quote Form to receive an instant quote online and by e-mail verification.

Our fees for the household shipment are based on the actual space used in the 28-foot trailer and we DO NOT have weight limits. Additionally, your cost is the same for cash or credit card. Unlike other companies, we DO NOT surcharge "credit card" paying customers.

HERE'S A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF HOW OUR PROGRAM WORKS

1) We can arrange drop off and pick up trailers Monday through Friday. We do not provide service on weekends or holidays. You may have the trailer dropped off and picked up in the same day, or you may keep it for up to two (2) business days for both loading and unloading. If you desire to load on the weekend, we can arrange for the trailer to be dropped on Friday and arrange for the trailer to be picked up on Monday - all at NO EXTRA CHARGE.

2) Once the shipment is loaded and secured, you contact our offices to advise as to the readiness of the trailer and the amount of space you used. At that point, we'll arrange to send a driver to your location to retrieve the loaded trailer. You are not required to be there when the loaded trailer is picked up.

3) While the trailer is en route to your new city, you may contact us anytime on our toll free number for an up-to-date satellite tracking of your trailer.

4) When the trailer arrives in the destination city terminal, we'll contact you via phone to make arrangements for the date & time you desire the trailer to be brought to you new home for unloading. If the trailer arrives earlier than expected in your destination city, or you need a couple of extra days before you want the trailer to be brought to your new home - NO PROBLEM - we'll arrange to hold the trailer for a couple of days - WITH NO STORAGE FEES.

5) After you have finished unloading the trailer, contact our offices and we'll arrange to have a driver return to your location to retrieve the empty trailer.

 ADDITIONAL NO-COST VALUEMOVES BENEFITS

1) $15,000 Limited Liability Insurance guarantee (for trailer fire, vehicle collision, vehicle overturn or complete trailer theft)

2) A Bulkhead to help you secure and divide your shipment inside the trailer. (Bulkheads may not be available in all cities, in which case, we will ship you Load-Lock Bars or LogiStick Wedges to help secure and your shipment)

3) For customers whose move is in progress, you'll have 24-hour access to your personal ValueMoves Customer Service Representative

4) 24-hour tracing of your trailer/shipment via Internet or through our toll free phone lines.

5) Personal Customer Service - ALL aspects of the move being handled "personally" by one ValueMoves Coordinator - from beginning to end.

6) Price, Value, Service, Convenience, Reliability, On-Time Delivery and a Stress-Free process.

7) Written Guarantee that trailer will be dropped at your loading city on date specified in contract. If we fail to meet our guarantee, ValueMoves will deduct $250 from your bill. (Ask for this GUARANTEE from our competitors and watch them balk!)

TIPS TO KNOW WHEN COMPARING COMPETITORS PRICES

1) Make sure of the amount of "linear feet" you are actually receiving. Don't be fooled with estimates that indicate cubic feet or weight - THIS IS A DECEPTIVE TACTIC used by competitors to confuse the customer. Ask for your quote in terms of actual "linear feet" on a trailer.

2) When given a quote, read the payment requirements or the asterisk (*) - most times you will notice the other quote is a "cash price" and you are required to pay 4%-5% more if you desire to pay by credit card. Credit Card companies prohibit merchants from "surcharging" customers for the right to use their credit card.

3) Look for "fuel surcharges" - some companies try to hide or minimize this cost in their initial quote to you. There are NO ADDITIONAL FUEL SURCHARGES associated with your ValueMoves estimate. Our price is a ALL INCLUSIVE RATE.

4) Check the insurance policy on your shipment. The common carriers automatically provide a "very limited" 10 cents per pound insurance policy - which some competitors pass on to you as their total insurance policy. ValueMoves provides $15,000 of limited liability catastrophic coverage at cash value (not per pound value) on each and every shipment and with NO DEDUCTIBLE.

5) How many DIFFERENT personnel do you have to communicate with before, during and after your shipment is transported. Commercial Freight Companies, such as U-Pack Moving, require you to contact origin and destination terminal dispatchers, operation managers, dock supervisors, customer service representatives and others throughout your moving process - in addition to having to deal with numerous sets of paperwork, such as Bill of Ladings and Gypsy Moth Certificates. ValueMoves handles all aspects of the move and provides you with a SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT. You will have your very own Personal Move Coordinator - who will know everything and handle everything about your shipment from the very first call to final delivery in your new city.

6) Are you dealing with an authorized, licensed and bonded company? ValueMoves is licensed by the U.S. Dept. of Transportation - Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration as a Household Moving Broker and our Motor Carrier # is MC450353. Be sure to enter our MC#450353 or ValueMoves (in Legal Name box ) and VA (in the State box) to retrieve all documentation.

SCHEDULING: To schedule your shipment, please call me as soon as you have a move date. Even though we have arranged moves with only 48 hours notice, we'd prefer to have at least one week's notice so that we can have a pre-printed contract (and information packet) sent to you by email or fax for your review and signature.

PAYMENT POLICY: Unlike other companies, ValueMoves DOES NOT require a deposit or any form of pre-payment. ValueMoves payment policy is that final payment is not due until after the trailer is loaded and underway to destination city and we gladly accept the following forms of payment: Cashiers Check, Money Order, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
