I asked my lawyer about this and he had never heard of "home seller's insurance". I did discover that there's "Errors and Omissions Insurance", but it seems to mostly be for professionals. Probably the best way to get E&O coverage would have been to hire a home inspector which has E&O Insurance. Then, in that case, if I get sued, then I could countersue the home inspector. Unfortunately, it's too late to hire a home inspector of my own. However, I have lowered my exposure by disclosing everything I know about the defects of the property. Also, it's more likely that the buyer's home inspector will get sued than I as seller. At this point, I just have to hope for the best.
