Indeed. Michael Abbott tried to get me into Yahoo, so far unsuccessfully.

But understandably quite secret stuff. I guess this comes with the
territory of a start up. (The coolest thing I've seen in the consumer
space so far this year is http://www.osafoundation.org/our_product_desc.htm .
They're trying to get this all to run on various PDAs. I really hope
they succeed.)

Yep. And doing job searching from here has been getting me into several
awkward positions, unfortunately. I guess I should be thankful that the
Bay Area job market is still so slow. It looks like most of my income this
year may come from selling the house! Geez. I don't wanna be a real
estate broker!
