Welcome to the new world of high resolution graphics.  (I always set 
everything
to the lowest resolution I can get away with.  That's why everything is so 
much
larger on the computers at home.)

If you're permitted to change settings on your computer, you can change this 
by
going to Start-Settings-Control Panel-Display-Settings and changing the 
display
area to something smaller (fewer pixels).  That should make everything appear
larger, 'though some applications may get screwed up.
