OK. All the papers have been signed. The proposed closing date is Oct 17.
I was reading the fine print and it says "SELLER's personal possessions
will be removed...except those agreed to in the Purchase". It doesn't
list the picnic table, ladder, or any of that stuff. I suspect it will be
OK. If it becomes an issue, you may have to get stuff moved onto the
sidewalk on a Monday or, if time is at stake, hire some people to haul
stuff to the dump. If it becomes a big issue, I'll try to get the closing
date extended to give enough time to deal with it. Obviously, I'll have
to pay for any labor or whatever involved.
On Monday, I will be cleaning. Also, any food left, I'll place in a box
in the foyer closet along with the silverware and vacuum cleaner.
