It's still running slowly. I tried running traceroute, but, with my current Linksys firewall set up, it will not work: % traceroute -n news4.sucknews.com traceroute to corp-news.newsfeeds.com (216.65.98.9), 30 hops max, 38 byte packets 1 * * * 2 * * * 3 * * * My Linksys firewall/router does not have the ability to traceroute from there. Setting the machine to be a DMZ host doesn't seem to help, either. Pinging is the only way to see the round-route time. In any case, if I'm the only one experiencing this problem, then it's something at my end which is the problem. I'll trying experimenting.
