What's very odd is that if we turn off the stereo, the cordless phone has no sound at all. Basically, it's behaving as if it's broken. But, it doesn't say that it needs to be recharged and the receiver unit lights up when you hit "talk" on the cordless phone. Perhaps it is broken. This all started with all the phones not working at all. For some reason, everything started working after I unplugged the modem on Noelle's computer. But, after I plugged the cordless phone back in, it didn't work. I'm starting to realize that the cordless phone may have been the problem in the first place, but I'm not certain. Maybe there was an electric spike? Almost everything is on a power strip except the refrigerator, my foot mouse, our telephone answering machine, our television, our VCR, and the cordless phone.
