Dear Robert, Thank you for making your voice heard! It is critical that our elected officials hear from their constituents and we are glad that you have taken action on this important issue. We would like to invite you to join the Planned Parenthood Email Action Network. As a member of the Action Network, you will be able to contact your elected officials easily and at no cost to you. We will alert you just a few times a year, or when there is a real need to get a message to legislators on issues concerning sexual health and reproductive rights. We'll even provide sample language and background information. In addition to action alerts, you will receive regular e-mail updates on issues of importance. Planned Parenthood Golden Gate works hard to shape policies that protect and expand reproductive health care - and we're succeeding with the help of activists like you! PPGG efforts helped to defeat all anti-choice legislation introduced this year in Ca. And thanks to your advocacy we are well on our way this year to: *Instituting comprehensive and medically accurate sex education policy for public schools in Ca. *Codifying our teen pregnancy programs. *Protecting clinics from unreasonably high insurance premiums. *Streamlining the clinic licensure process thereby enabling clinics to serve patients more quickly. *Ensuring greater access to emergency contraception for women in pharmacies. Again, thank you for speaking out in support of the reproductive health and well-being of women and men. We look forward to your continued support and action on our issues. Sen. Dianne Feinstein 331 Hart Senate Office Building Washington, DC 20510-0504 Dear Senator Feinstein, Sen. Barbara Boxer 112 Hart Senate Office Building Washington, DC 20510-0501 Dear Senator Boxer, Thank you for your past support of reproductive freedom for all women. As a constituent, I urge you to continue to make reproductive choice a top priority, and vote against the confirmation of anti-choice judges to all federal courts including the United States Supreme Court. As you know, a woman's right to choose remains in peril. For the first time since the Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, we have an anti-choice President as well as a House and Senate with more anti-choice than pro-choice members. Perhaps the most visible threat to women's health care privacy however, lies in the possibility of an anti-choice majority on the Supreme Court. The circuit courts also play an increasingly important role in our federal judiciary. While the Supreme Court only hears a handful of cases every year, the federal appellate courts hear tens of thousands of cases. Please oppose the confirmation of any anti-choice judicial nominees. All citizens deserve a federal and Supreme Court pledged to upholding women's hard won constitutional rights as secured through precedents such as Roe v. Wade. Again, thank you for your ongoing support of reproductive health issues. Sincerely, Robert USA
