Hayward BART Energizer Station update [was: I'd like to volunteer for BTWD]

We can definitely use your help at the Hayward BART Energizer Station
between 7 and 9pm on Thursday, May 20. As at all energizer stations, we
provide the canvas bags, volunteers provide the enthusiasm!

Cynthia Dorsey, AC Transit, has volunteered to staff the station and
pick up the materials to hand out to bike commuters on May 14. It can
get pretty hectic tracking-down bicyclists as they enter or exit the
station. Other participants want to talk to experienced cyclists about
preferred routes or local activism. Many will be surprised, but all
appreciate the support. I know that Cynthia will also appreciate some
help setting up a table.

You also might enjoy joining our "bag stuffing party" from noon to 5pm
on Friday May 14 at the MTC MetroCenter Auditorium, 101 Eighth Street.
We will have a great group of volunteers operating the assembly lines to
tailor each station's canvas bags with appropriate goodies. Afterward,
the EBBC will treat volunteers to food and drink on the patio at Quinn's
Lighthouse. Fun!
