I doubt that it will go back up the way it did the last couple of years.
Unless there is a terrorist attack, I suspect things will stay steady
until after the elections are over.
Also, you have to be careful about "timing the market". Many mutual funds
(in fact, all of the ones I now have in my retirement IRA) have recently
imposed penalties if you exchange or sell funds too quickly ("quickly"
depends upon the particular fund in question; most of mine are 1 month,
but it could be longer).
