According to http://www.skillproof.com , things are looking up in Ca. 
At least, for IT.  But, the unemployment rate is actually going up in the Bay
Area according to http://www.calmis.ca.gov/htmlfile/subject/lftable.htm . 
Maybe it's in places other than the Bay Area that the growth is happening?

I haven't noticed any change, but it's hard for me to tell since I've been too
busy interviewing :-).
