It's been weird. I basically decided to stop looking, but, since doing
that, I keep getting all these interviews. Today, I interviewed at
Yahoo!. I personally don't think it will fly.
Lately, I've been doing small project-oriented contract work. Which I
kinda like -- except the commutes.
I frankly think that doing my own thing (i.e., starting a company of my
own and/or doing contract work) is probably my only long-term employment
solution presently. There is just too much competition for programming
jobs here. And the unemployment rate is going up again here!

I imagine. Allegedly, NYC-Wash DC is doing pretty well in the sciences/IT
sector. Actually, So. Cal is doing better, but it would only be
economically feasible if it were a short-term contract and I could stay
with someone I know.
Have you been able to see Simon?
