I think Kerry did about as well as he could have.  Bush was very much 
on message and made no gross mistakes.  All in all, not bad...because 
this was the best shot W had in the debates, I think.  Kerry should 
be able to wipe the floor with him on domestic stuff.

Still...for some mysterious reason Bush is popular with certain 
people.  I just hope it's not a majority.  Kerry has trouble being 
"one of the guys".  Of course, no one expected the other JFK to be 
"one of the guys", but he had the charm that Kerry's personality 
lacks.
