Glycemic foods to stay away from

foods to avoid:

grains
    except cornmeal, hominy grits, buckwheat, wild rice, whole rye kernels,
           whole spelt kernels, triticale kernels, whole oats (Irish oatmeal),
	   amaranth, teff, barley, quinoa, bulgur, converted rice, and
           whole wheat kernels
    tortillas are OK
potatoes
    except boiled potatoes and sweet potatoes/yams
