I think I may have alienated my ride -- the co-worker that was giving me a ride
occassionally.  So, I guess I'll be having a long commute every day.  Anyway, I
figure if she wants to start commuting together again, I'll wait 'til she
suggests it.

Anyway, I guess this will truly be able to give me an opportunity to catch up
on all my reading and so on.

Oh, and I found out that my contract ends on Feb 24, not May as I had supposed.
 We'll see if my boss wants to renew the contract.

Also, re: dinner party.  Noelle is trying to get time off work to help with my
mom.  (It turns out that, indeed, my employment is not covered under the FMLA.)
 So, a dinner party won't be for a while at this rate....
