I realized I didn't answer your question re: the type of company.

It's a small consulting group in .  They have a mixed bag of contracts
with various companies, most small, some large.  If they have work available,
you may very well be able to work from home.

Anyway, it would be completely by-the-hour and the amount of work would
probably comes in waves.

They are a nice bunch of people (it's the co-op I mentioned in my solstice
message).
