I don't recall. I've been actively following the H-1B issue since 1998
and somehow stumbled upon your group.

Because, although Programmers Guild is a good group, it isn't a real
union. And since I'm working now (albeit a temporary position), I figured
this is a good form of unemployment insurance.

Since I've been working professionally in 1987, it was good. But, in
2002, I became unemployed. I got a temp job just about 5 months ago.
