Thanks for the tip on the where-I-live group. If you are interested, I have
lots of LAMP work available, and would love to work with you more. Let me
know when you find out more about your contract.

Thanks for the tips on research. This card came out in 97/98 as a very
high end card (in the thousands of dollars) it has a very small install
base, and as far as I can tell only Windows 98 drivers are supported! I
have email the ALSA developer list to see if anyone knows anything, but it
looks like it is an officially unsupported card. One funny coincidence I
ran across is that Klaus Knopper, the author of Knoppix (and one of my
heros) wrote his master's thesis on writing a linux driver for this card!
I have written him also.
