I got a quote from MetLife re: renter's insurance. She said that damage to the house due to contents getting shifted about during an earthquake is not covered. Anyway, it's $19.60/month (I presently pay $17.74/month with Balboa). So, I think I will need to ask Mary-Catherine about natural disasters and dwelling liability. > From: http://dummy.us.eu.org/robert (Robert) > Date: Fri, 21 Oct 2005 11:04:26 -0700 > > We need to ask Wilbur whether he'll inspect our place after a major > earthquake hits to ensure that we aren't liable for damage as a result of > said earthquake. > > Actually, I should look up in that Nolo book about what Ca law > says about such liability.
