At my last company, it was the second wave of layoffs that I got caught up in.

My boss is trying his best to make funding stable.  He figures that if we
can get our work into an actual product that my company sells, that'll do
it.  He'll be doing a lot of travelin' over the next few weeks to try to
get that.  If he doesn't get it, we'll be back on the roller coaster.
