I don't think your report on H1-B Visas could have been more biased. Not
a single representative or organization (IEEE-USA comes to mind) opposing
H1-B quota increases was interviewed. Such organizations have big laundry
lists of why H1-B visas are a poor mechanism for bringing talent to the
United States, but unfortunately we'll never get to hear these reasons.
