Wow. Minnesota. Noelle's cousin lives in MN, too, these days. I guess Lisa comes from MN? Noelle is a native Can. I don't think she could go back to the snow of the east at this point. And I certainly do not miss snow :-). Re: weather. According to http://www.weatherbase.com/weather/weather.php3?s=773712 I guess it gets colder in the winter and hotter in the summer than Boston (http://www.weatherbase.com/weather/weather.php3?s=090527 ). 'Though, honestly, weather in Boston was never the problem. I suspect St. Paul will be much better in that regard. Re: jobs. There are probably a number of high-tech jobs there. I know that Netperceptions used to be there (similar to the technology Amazon uses for its recommendations), but apparently they no longer exist :-(. I don't know if you know, but So_ny laid me off and now, for the last month, I'm working at this outfit in Mountain View (Tell_me.com). I feel conflicted about it. I really enjoy the work, but I feel much more stress here than I did at So_ny. There's an air of laid-back-ed-ness, but beneath the surface is cut-throat competition. I'm trying my best not to get sucked into it. It's hard. There's one great advantage to Minnesota. If you need to escape this screwed up country, Canada is that much closer. And you'll be used to the weather, too :-). > From: Mike Abbott <http://www.comcast.net/~mja63> > Date: Tue, 6 Jun 2006 00:54:46 -0700 (PDT) > > Lisa and I are moving to Minnesota.
