I couldn't tell you. I suspect that as the subprime-mortgage (e.g.,
Flora's loan) problem expands, the stock market will slow down.
Also, a strange factor is private equity firms. They're buying companies,
make them private, and taking them off the stock exchanges. So, that may
buffer any dramatic falls.
There are too many variables to know for sure.
