FWIW, I use IceWeasel on my old So_ny laptop (which runs Debian).
IceWeasel is a FireFox look-alike/act-alike.
I found some Firefox add-ons that makes Firefox look just like Netscape.
Unfortunately, it will not emulate the "communicator" part of Netscape;
so, if you use Netscape for reading your email, Firefox won't help you
there.
