You may need to do all this from Firefox with the Stumbleupon toolbar
installed, but it may be sufficient to just log into Stumbleupon via
http://www.stumbleupon.com/login.php .
http://stumbleupon.theprawn.com/ says:
    * A user with the mature filter turned on will not receive pages
introduced to StumbleUpon by a user whose mature filter is turned
off. Note that you may turn the mature filter off via the "Turn off
      mature filter" link on the
      topics [http://www.stumbleupon.com/interests.php] page without
necessarily selecting an adult topic for stumbling. That may be
appropriate if you happen to be socially liberal and/or if you're
      eager to increase audience size.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/help.html#adultcontent also seems to indicate
that you need to set your age high enough. (In that case, I have no idea
why my settings work since I have no specified age, I don't think.)
Perhaps just unchecking "Allow others to see my age" on
http://bhavani.stumbleupon.com/prefs/settings/ will be sufficient -- it's
worth a try.
Hope something sticks...
