How to track your refund with the IRS

- The IRS issues refunds every Friday. If you don't receive your refund on the estimated date shown on the Where's My Refund? Web site, wait until the next Friday to check again.
- If it's been longer than 14 days from your estimated refund date and you have not received your refund, see Where's My Refund? for more help. Some refunds can take up to a month to arrive, depending on the return.
Need copies of your tax returns for your records?
You can open your returns any time and print or save copies for your records. Follow the instructions to continue to the Print/Save for Your Records screen.From there you can print copies, or save (in PDF format) on your computer or on a CD. You'll be able to access your returns without returning to TurboTax.
Note: If you e-filed a state return, you will receive a separate status e-mail about that return. We recommend saving copies of all status e-mails for your records.
