Hi Kristin & Jeremy, 
We wish that we had committed to memory and  learned by heart to work on
our own flaws and focus on our partner?s feelings.  We realized and are
still appreciating that to live happily in a marriage it is up to the
most conscious person to take the lead in compromise and negotiation. One
of you needs to surrender to be happy over being right- and you know who
you are. We wish we were told to trust in honesty and truth- even when it
feels- if truth be told ? extremely uncomfortable.  Facing the truth and
being honest as best you can out of love for one another really results
in contentment and joy in a relationship.  Also we wish that we knew that
marriage is not meeting each other half way it?s about going a full 100%
to come together.  And last but not least make each other laugh and have
fun even in bed.
May your relationship bring joy, happiness, laughter and satisfaction.

The attachment: Photo of Bhavani and Richard  was taken when we were
first dating.  Bhavani (Margaret) age 16 and Richard(Dick) age 19.  March
7, 1962. The other portrayal is also us as a married couple most
recently.  We will be married 45 years this year!!!
