Therese May: Riding the Horse
Therese May has been a leader in the creation and development of art quilting, and is recognized worldwide as a guiding light in the movement and one of its most inspiring advocates. Therese began making quilts in 1965 and has exhibited throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan. With a focus on transformational healing, her work is centered on wholeness, integration and creativity through art and the quilt-making process.

Lisa Mari Ramirez: ?and those left behind.
Drawing upon her Mexican-Irish heritage and personal experience, Lisa Marie Ramirez explores connections between the physical and spiritual worlds in highly personal art narratives. She is inspired by non-western cultures and their ancient traditions and rituals which celebrate nature and the cycles of life - birth, death, rebirth/renewal; how we grow from our experiences and how they influence the paths we ultimately take.

Diverse Impressions: Bay Area Abstraction
Diverse Impressions: Bay Area Abstraction presents the work of seven contemporary Bay Area artists who have furthered the exploration of non-objective/non-representational art. Participating artists include: Tracey Adams, Lou Bermingham, Heather Gordon, Liz Maxwell, Maxine Solomon, Lola Walker, and Mirang Wonne.

Entry to this museum is FREE. Parking is FREE.
