My own cat, Goose, died last year after a long (around 19 years) life. Like Dolly, Goose changed homes a number of times (Atlanta, San Francisco, Waltham, Lexington VA), but always enjoyed himself and brought joy to others wherever he lived.

Our feline companion Dolly died this morning after living with hyperthyroidism for about 2 years. I felt she did not have long to live this past month and tried to keep her comfortable.Dolly was born in New York(what year?) and Tamara adopted her, she then lived with Tam's sister and nephew for a while, then Tam brought her to Boston to live with us.She was so skittish that she ran off and hid in the attic. She eventually warmed up to us and became the Dolly we all became familiar with. When we moved back to Ca, Robert took her on the plane and she was so traumatized on the plane she hardly moved. She quickly took to Ca living and enjoyed hanging out in the backyard in where-I-live, and later in where-I-live. Noelle
