weird experience

I just had a weird experience.  While getting off the train, a guy (who
had sat in front of me, facing me) came up to me and "Robert, rates are
increasing".  He then waved his hand at me and said "have a good day".

I figure it's one of several possibilities:

 1) He was talking to the conductor who also may be named Robert (I
    don't know) and was continuing a conversation.
 2) He was looking over my shoulder and saw that I was going through my
    Keypoint Credit Union statement, and somehow also saw my name, and
    figured I must be looking for a house or something.
 3) He's psychic.
