BTW, it is quite ironic that I don't check my email on most nights after
coming home from work, and that I usually don't check it as soon as I get
up (I usually cook breakfast and make beverages).

Actually, I think you read your email more frequently than me, and check
the No Kidding board much more than I look at web sites.

Maybe that's why I don't feel overwhelmed.
