Lily not Lilly was Grandma's cousin. So I don't know what that makes you?--- Her father was Indian and one of the photos)when she was quite a bit younger) she is seen playing a sitar that was her grandmother's. She seems to have a really nifty sense of humour. facebook Esha sent you a message. My mother's maiden name was Ascher and she grew up in various places in New York City. She met my father while studying at Tagore University in India in the 1950s; they married in 1957; they had me in 1961 (she was 37 and he was 43); they moved to Hawaii six months later for my father's job as an art history professor at the university; she died in 1988 at age 64. She didn't work but was always a visual artist (there's a link to some of her early work in my Notes here on Facebook). It's interesting that I've been hearing from the children of her cousins recently. Do you know others? So, tell me more about you! Your profile is also very interesting....
