Oakland Museum Free First Sunday
Museum open from 11 am-5pm
Check the exhibits including the Miné Okubo: Citizen 13660 exhibit, which closes August 2nd, the PIXAR: 25 Years of Animation exhibit, the CANNED SPINACH Temporary Installations by Landscape Architect Walter Hood, and the new galleries of California Art and Ca History. Also happening that day:

Join us for the annual Summer Reading Celebration with the Oakland Public Library. There?ll be a Fish-Tank-on-Wheels from the East Bay Regional Park District, face painting, scavenger hunt, hands-on arts & crafts, Play-Well Lego TEKnologies workshops, story times, watercolor painting with MOCHA, Buki the Clown, Puppet Art Theatre, hands-on with Lawrence Hall of Science staff, and Dreyer?s popsicles! First Sundays are free! OMCA is free all day the first Sunday of every month.
An event probably way loaded down with the young ones, but perhaps as a group we can provide a non breeders buffer zone for eachother.
