Announcing a new Meetup for HumVeganity!

What: Cooked-It-Yourself Potluck Dinner Party

When: Saturday, August 21, 2010 6:30 PM

I enjoy exchanging recipes and cooking techniques and group cooking is a great way to do this. Unfortunately, our kitchen (and most kitchens) are too small to accommodate 5 or more people cooking simultaneously.

As a possible solution to this dilemma, a potluck will be held which requires that all participants cook the item at home before arriving.

The idea is that this potluck will form a complete dinner, with a possible appetizer, salad, or soup, main entrées, and a possible dessert. A table will be provided for eating the meal.

Here are the rules for participating:

(1) the potluck item must have been prepared at home, and
(2) each participant chooses to bring one of either the appetizer, starter (soup or salad), entrée, or dessert.

I hope that this will give us the opportunity to talk about food, food, and food.
