She was 85 and born in Manchester, on March 5, 1925. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1942. Through her travels, Miner touched down in Mexico and China where she left a lasting impact. In Mexico Miner helped start a Unitarian Universalist Church in San Miguel de Allande and in China, helped found the U.S.-China Peoples Friendship Association, also becoming Director of China Study-Tours in the 1970's. Miner's zeal for life will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Miner is preceded in death by one brother, Charles Warner and one sister, Helen Sullivan. Miner leaves behind one son, Matthew Miner of Leander, TX; four daughters, Candace Bechtold of Austin, TX, Wende Bechman of Tucson, AZ, Jan Church of Westville, Margaret of ; two brothers, Danny Warner of Clinton, AK, David Warner of Harrisburg, PA; two sisters, Irene Barber of Wills Point, TX, Susan Barber of Cincinnati, OH; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Much gratitude to Emerald Coast Hospice and others for help and support. A memorial service was held Jan. 23, at Peel Funeral Home Chapel.
